Inspired by …Sunday Snippets

{for sunday snippets and 52 photos project }: a collection of photos from the week.

My theme for this week ~ looking for color…any color amongst all the snow

All pics taken with my iPhone.

I am in a quandary right now. I love my Nikon DSLR, but a bit bulky for my daily jaunt through the woods. My iPhone has been my go to camera to capture the moment, however I have no control over the outcome. I need a go between. Small~ manual~interchangable.

I would love any suggestions…I am in the market!

  1. Hi! I have a Panasonic Lumix 16x Intelligent Zoom which I love, love, love. It takes awesome images and is small. Fits in a purse, a jacket pocket, etc. It also films in HD. Your image turned out great though for an iPhone.

  2. Your photos are stunning! I have the same problem at the moment. Love my camera but need something smaller to take everywhere with me to capture those everyday moments that’s a bit better than than the good old iphone! Lovely post x

  3. You do have a fantastic eye. And you live in a beautiful place! I’m so jealous of your snow. I’m writing from Texas where it’s 72 degrees right now.
    Always enjoy your posts!

    • Jealous of our snow?? That makes me laugh only because the grass is always greener. What I would give for a little hit of sunshine and warmth! Thanks for your comment!

  4. Fabulous shots! Re: needing a hit of sunshine … I feel your pain *lol* my climate looks similar to yours…
I love my Nikon DSLR too but for exactly the reasons you stated I also have a canon power shot for when I want less bulk or don’t want to risk my expensive camera LOL – like rafting or kayaking – it takes great photos and videos as well!

  5. Julie – oh, how I miss the snow. Can you please send some east? My goto camera is my NikonD80 but my every day in my purse never leave the house without it (seriously, I go to get milk and it is in my pocket) is my Olympus. It is the size of a deck of cards and I use it every day.
